How we compare

Our prices next to the big government market intelligence platforms, with sources, and an honest list of what they do that we don’t.

This page compares SmarTekAI Public Data with the best-known government market intelligence platforms. Competitor prices come from their own pricing pages where they publish one. Where a vendor does not publish prices, we say quote-based and show the typical range reported by third parties, with a link to each source. Prices were checked on October 23, 2026 and can change; confirm with the vendor before you buy.

Bloomberg Government
Quote-based
Quote-based, per seat. Reported ~$5,700 to $15,000 per user/yr; typical $7,500 to $14,000[10] [11] [12]

Deltek is the company that makes GovWin IQ, so Deltek and GovWin IQ are one row. Quote-based ranges come from buyer reports and procurement data, not vendor rate cards. GovTribe also lists older federal-only plans (Launch, $1,500/yr) for some customers [3].

Side by side, per year

If you need…UsThem
1 user, alerts$39/yr (Alerts)HigherGov $500; GovTribe $1,900; GovWin IQ ~$6,000+; BGOV ~$5,700+
A small team$199/yr (Team, up to 5)HigherGov $2,500 (up to 10); GovTribe 3 seats $4,800; GovSpend median $11,576
Data via API$899/yr (Pro, up to 10)HigherGov $2,500 (Standard); GovWin IQ / GovSpend quote-based

What that means: our Alerts plan costs 8% of HigherGov Starter, 2% of one GovTribe seat and under 1% of a typical GovWin IQ contract. Our Team plan costs 8% of HigherGov Standard. Our Pro plan, with a JSON API, is about a third of HigherGov’s $2,500/yr team plan, and a small slice of typical GovWin IQ or GovSpend contracts.

What they do that we don’t

We would rather you buy the right tool. The big platforms offer things we do not:

If you need those, one of them is the better buy. If you need to know what federal agencies are buying, spending and being lobbied on, today, without a sales call, read on.

Why our much less expensive site is worth it

Refreshed every day

Our pipeline runs every morning with no one pressing a button: every active SAM.gov notice from GSA’s daily data file (72,071 on the last refresh), USAspending obligations for the last 30 days, and the latest Senate LDA filings.

Three federal sources, one place

Contracts and grants (USAspending), lobbying (Senate LDA) and open solicitations (SAM.gov), joined by state, agency and industry. See who wins work, who lobbies, and what is open now, on one state page.

Deadline alerts

Save searches by keyword, NAICS, set-aside, state, agency or notice type. New matches arrive by email each day with the response deadline, so you see them while there is still time to bid.

No sales calls, no contracts

Prices are on the page. Sign up, pay through PayPal monthly or yearly, and cancel any time from your account. No demo, no quote, no multi-year lock-in, no renewal notice window.

A fraction of the price

$4/month for one user. $19/month for a team of 5. Under 10% of what the alerts and team plans cost elsewhere, so it pays for itself with one bid you would have missed.

Linked to the source

Every award, filing and notice links to the official record on USAspending, LDA.gov or SAM.gov, so you can check details before you act.

What we do that others don’t

Month-to-month billing

Us: Every plan has a monthly price ($4, $19, $89) and you cancel anytime from your account; PayPal billing.

Them: HigherGov and GovTribe list annual prices only [13] [3]; GovWin IQ, GovSpend and BGOV sell annual terms, often auto-renewing [7] [8] [10].

Prices on the page, no sales call

Us: All prices are published; no demo, quote or negotiation.

Them: GovWin IQ, GovSpend and Bloomberg Government quote after a sales conversation [5] [8] [12].

Self-serve sign-up

Us: Create an account, confirm your email, pick a plan. Done in minutes.

Them: Quote-based platforms need a demo first; buyers report onboarding of weeks or months for some (GovSpend lists about three months) [8].

Lobbying next to contracts

Us: Senate LDA filings sit beside contracts, grants and SAM.gov opportunities, on the same state pages.

Them: Bloomberg Government also covers lobbying disclosures [14], at a reported $5,700+ per seat. We did not find LDA filings advertised by HigherGov, GovTribe, GovSpend or GovWin IQ.

Alerts at the lowest price

Us: Saved-search deadline alerts start at $39/yr.

Them: HigherGov includes alerts from $500/yr; GovTribe from $1,900/yr [1] [2].

An API for small budgets

Us: Pro: JSON API with API keys and CSV export up to 50,000 rows for $89/mo or $899/yr, about a third of HigherGov’s $2,500/yr team plan.

Them: Most others put API or data-feed access in higher or quote-based tiers.

Small teams priced fairly

Us: Team: up to 5 users for $199/yr total.

Them: Five GovTribe seats at $1,400 each are $7,000/yr [2]; BGOV is priced per seat [10].

Official sources, linked

Us: Every award, filing and notice links to its record on USAspending, LDA.gov or SAM.gov.

Them: Commercial platforms enrich and repackage data; checking the original can take extra steps.

Privacy

Us: Public pages set no cookies and load no trackers or ad scripts. Account data: we do not sell personal information.

Them: —

Simple to use

Us: Plain tables you can filter and sort, and state pages. Nothing to train on.

Them: Full platforms carry more features and a longer learning curve; one source reports about 3 months to implement GovWin IQ [5].
