SmarTekAIPublic Data

How it works

What the site does for you and how to use it, step by step.

Product walkthrough video (~1 minute). Narrated tour of Opportunities, filters, niches, bid templates, the vendor guide, and pricing.

Start here: five steps

  1. Create an account at Sign up and confirm your email.
  2. Pick a plan on Pricing: Alerts, Team or Pro Data / API.
  3. Set your NAICS codes and alerts under My alerts so matching notices come to you.
  4. Open opportunities on Opportunities, or start from a niche pack.
  5. Generate a bid template from any active notice and finish it in Word.

What you get

  • Daily SAM.gov opportunities. Every active notice from the SAM.gov public data file, refreshed each day and sorted by deadline.
  • Enrichment. Notices carry type and set-aside badges, NAICS labels, days remaining, and links to related award history in that industry.
  • Niche packs. Ready-made views for IT and cyber, construction, facilities and more, each with its own closing-soon list.
  • Awards and lobbying context. Recent contracts and grants from USAspending.gov, Senate lobbying filings, and state pages joining it all.

The search box on Opportunities searches every active notice by keyword, agency, set-aside, notice type and due date. Anyone can use it without an account; signing in adds alerts, exports and the paid tools.

To keep search fast for everyone, it has fair-use limits per visitor (roughly 20 searches a minute). Normal browsing never comes close. If you do hit a limit, wait a minute and try again, or use alerts and exports for bulk work.

Closing soon & filters

Quick-filter chips above the results narrow to notices due in 7 days, small-business set-asides, and common notice types. Click a chip again to clear it. Each row shows a colored days-left badge: red within 7 days, amber within 30. The “Filter rows” box narrows only the table on the current page.

Bid templates (paid plans)

For any active notice, signed-in members on any paid plan can open a response template pre-filled with the solicitation number, agency, NAICS, set-aside, deadline and point of contact, then download it as a Word .docx to complete. It is a starting structure, not a finished bid: always follow the solicitation’s own instructions.

Vendor registration guide (paid plans)

A step-by-step checklist at Vendor guide: UEI vs. full registration, Login.gov, documents to gather, the SAM.gov registration itself, validation delays, what to do once you’re Active, and SBA profiles and certifications.

Pro tips & cooperative purchasing (Pro)

Pro members get an extra section in the vendor guide on improving your chances: teaming, mentor-protégé programs, joint ventures, GSA Schedules, Contractor Team Arrangements and cooperative purchasing for state and local buyers. Pro also adds API access and larger exports.

Alerts

Save searches by keyword, NAICS, agency or set-aside under My alerts. New matching notices are emailed after each daily refresh, and you can unsubscribe from any alert email with one click.

Pricing and value

Plans start at $39 a year (Alerts, 1 user); Team covers up to 5 users and Pro Data / API up to 10. See Pricing for current prices, and Compare for how we stack up against platforms that start in the thousands of dollars a year — including what they cover that we don’t. We aim to be a less expensive, focused option.
